Recent blog posts of weekly specials ranged from a “buy one get one” sale on children’s books and another on hardcover fiction and mystery. The collector’s case featured adventurer and philanthropist Richard Upjohn Light’s personal copy of Focus on Africa plus signed Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter memoirs.

Later this year, KPL will stop mailing hold or overdue notices in favor of email, phone, or text messaging. To use those methods, KPL needs correct patron info. Anyone who verifies or updates their KPL record by September 3 will be entered in the “Verify My Record” con-test. Prize drawing will be held on September 10. Winners will be notified by phone or email.
