LINGL – History

1936 1st patent: „mechanism for engobing roof tiles“ 1938 Hans Lingl sr. founds the LINGL Company as a machine manufacturer for the ceramic industry

1954 Delivery of its first dryer - LINGL expands its product line with process technology

1958 Delivery of its first tunnel kiln - LINGL establishes itself as a supplier for complete plants; for all machine handling and thermal process technology

1964 LINGL founds its first subsidiary abroad in Great Britain

1969 LINGL founds its subsidiary in the USA

1977 Directorship of the company passes to Hans Lingl, Jr. and Klaus Appel

1980s LINGL systematically develops into an international turnkey plant supplier 1990s LINGL strengthens its market position with the acquisition of innovatherm and Trafö Förderanlagen

2000s Further internationalization of its markets and development of its service business
