User manual for Line Call Andon
INSTRUCTIONS:Hang the display from a rigid structure. Ensure display is clear from obstruction to anyobject movement in front of the display. Display must be mounted away from heat andwater spray or high humidity. Ensure display is away from strong light to preventreflections and reduced visibility.Mount the Switch panel at a suitable location and wire the switch panel to the andon asper instructions.
AC INPUTEnsure the input is AC230V, single phase. Input must be from a properly groundedoutlet and connected through a circuit breaker.
PANEL TO ANDON WIRING
The panel has two connectors to connect the andon board. A 7 PIN DIN connector anda 8 PIN DIN connector will need to be wired to the Andon board.

We suggest using Two 8 Core 0.5Sqmm wires for the connectors. Alternately aMultistrand CAT5 cable that is also called a Patch Cord cable may be used.
The Panel has no power wiring.
MAINTENANCE.Wipe the front of the display with a clean damp cloth and use only mild soap if needed.Do not use any organic solvents to clean the display front to prevent hazing andcracking. Display will accumulate dust due to static and an antistatic solution safe forAcrylic plastic may be applied after suitable care and verification.The speaker must be kept free of dust and all connectors must be kept dust free andinserted tightly with the Din cover completely fitted to the base.
Lamp Specification:Compact Flourescent Lamp – 8 Watt. MiniColor – Cool DaylightLength – 115mm8W – TU/2P220-240V, 50Hz.
Switch Specification.Make – PLAModel – PE-16 – 1-R1L-X- L-24. The X signifies the color – R/Y/G.
Music Box.The Music control box has a Volume control on top. Rotate the volume control until thedesired volume level is achieved.A Timer knob is also provided that allows the music ON time to be varied between 1 secto 59 seconds. Rotate this knob to set the desired music ON time.The pre-recorded music cannot be changed. In case the music period is lesser than theset timer time, the music will recycle after a short gap.
TROUBLESHOOTING.1. Display does not turn ON.Ensure display power supply is connected. Check the fuse and replace with the correcttype and value. Do not increase the fuse capacity beyond the specified limit. In casefuse blows again after replacement, contact manufacturer for service.2. One light box is not working.Change the CFL lamp inside the light box and check functionality3. Switch not working.Check the wiring between the switch panel and the Andon board. Alternately, replaceswitch.4. Music not audible.Adjust the volume control to set the desired volume. Check the speaker connection tothe music box output. Adjust the timer so that the music period is sufficient to allow themusic to play for proper audibility.
