Everett Eckart founded Eckart Supply Company in 1962. Before that time, Mr. Eckart was an electrical, plumbing and HVAC contractor. He found it difficult, as a contractor, to find supplies in Southern Indiana. Therefore, he created one of the signature suppliers in our area based on a firm belief in keeping a strong inventory and fully supporting the products we sell.

The Eckart family controlled and led the company from 1962 to 2001. Mike Bennett then took over the leadership and majority ownership role. Mr. Bennett led Eckart, LLC through many successful years and expanded the business into new markets. Mike substantially strengthened the company’s buying power by joining Affiliated Distributors (A-D). A-D is one of the largest buying groups for independent suppliers in the United States and a network of other successful independents around the country.

Mike’s son, Philip Bennett, took over leadership of the company in 2014. With a youthful ownership team of Philip Bennett, Chad Coffman, Chris Kellem, Jeff Davis, and Mike Bennett, Eckart, LLC has positioned itself for even more growth with the same original values and principles in mind. Today, Eckart, LLC strives to provide the finest quality products to contractors, facility maintenance departments, and homeowners.
