WORK EXPERIENCE

Worked with the Harvest-Thanksgiving and Back to TGHS producing programme literature for the events. 2011-2012.

Worked with the Teacher of The Year Committee 2009-2011

Presently supervising Social Science Department comprising a cadre of 4 qualified professionals. Three (3) History and Two (2) Geography Teachers.

Responsible for giving instruction to BJC Social Studies Candidates who wished to reseat this examination at the Senior High School level and assisted with the preparation of the same for the Social Studies Coursework as well as assisting students with BGCSE History Coursework simultaneously.

Working with various School based Committee’s: STI Committee to ensure that timetables are set up and populating lists of names of students to subjects within the Social Science Department. 2007-present and assisting fellow colleagues in resolving their STI issues so that report cards could be printed for report card day of each term on the STI System which is a computer software system for public school teachers.

Responsible for the supervision of Grades as a Homeroom Teacher, facilitating contact with parents and the school as well as other colleagues regarding student performance.

Responsible for producing the Minutes at the Heads of Department Meeting for Social Science and Administrative Meetings at GHS.

Tutoring students at lunch time and after school to deepen learning in various History topics and as well to sharpen behavioural skills in Bloom’s Taxonomy of learning all done free of charge.

In 2012, worked for two weeks with the Vacation Bible School at The Hillview Seventh-day Adventist church supervising the Early Teens. This group created a skit on the topic Daniel- A Faithful Witness.

Worked one day out of the week for one summer at the Good Samaritan Home to mop the floors to assist the staff. 2001 and 2003.

HOBBIESHobbies are Reading, playing Internet Scrabble, Reading, Cooking, Walking and Gardening.
