Songwriter and Author, Linda F. Wil-

liams is CEO of Whose Apple Em-

powerment Center. The nonprofit

organization was founded to empow-

er people to overcome traumatic his-

tories by leveraging their pasts to-

ward purpose and destiny.

A self-proclaimed graduate of the University of Hard Knocks, Ms. Williams holds a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Calvin College, where her undergraduate thesis led to Exodus LifeChange, a holistic ex-offender aftercare program in Kent Coun-ty. She earned a Master of Social Work and Graduate Certification in Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counseling from Western Michi-gan University.

Her Capella University doctoral studies in Criminal Justice cen-tered on prisoner rehabilitation and reintegration, with a focus on unique needs of female offenders.

tional hits with Oh Girl, Have You Seen Her, Soulful Strut, and For God’s Sake We’ve Got to Get More Power to the People.
