Students who are preparing for one of the Cambridge exams will follow a syllabus designed to maximise their classroom time. Mock exams are held periodically throughout the course and helps students focus on exam technique.

MusicLiverpool has a rich musical heritage and is officially the World Capital of Pop. This began with The Beatles, and many local attractions commemorate the story of the most successful band of all time. ‘The Beatles Story’ is a brilliant tour through the Beatles lives. FLIGHTS & TRANSFERS Liverpool John Lennon Airport is around eight miles from the city centre and offers flights from various parts of Europe. A low-cost bus service from the airport to the city centre is operated by Merseytravel. New worldwide flights from Liverpool John Lennon Airport are available with KLM. KLM now connects Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LPL) 650 destinations around the globe via Amsterdam’s Schipol Airport. Manchester Airport, is around 45 minutes from Liverpool.

If you would like a stress free journey you can book a transfer with us at an additional cost. We have a great transfer team who collect you from the airport or train station and take you to your accommodation. They will make you feel comfortable and safe!

ARRIVING BY ROAD AND RAIL Our nearest train station is Liverpool Lime Street and there is a National Express coach station on Norton Street, a short distance from LILA*.

ARRIVING AT LILA* You can find us next to the Hard Days Night Hotel on North John Street and Matthew Street. We’re also across the road from the Liverpool ONE shopping centre and Boodles, the jewellery shop is on the same crossroads. Look for the building with the green front which says “New Barratt House”. You’ll be greeted by the concierge in the foyer and you need to go up the stairs (or take the lift!) to the first floor. You can expect it to take around 5 minutes to walk from Central Station, Moorfields Station, Paradise Street and Queens Square. To walk from Liverpool Lime Street station will take around 10 minutes.
