ABOUT US
Dezzo Roofing specialises in the manufacturing and supplying of lightweight steel roof support systems, a viable and cost effective alternative to conventional timber roof systems. Dezzo Roofing has been involved in numerous projects across the country, ranging from residential houses, rural schools,
social facilities, hotels, factories, army barracks’ to office buildings.
Since 2000, Dezzo Roofing has supplied over 3½ million square metres of lightweight steel trusses for projects that have been completed in South Africa, Angola, Mozambique, Zambia and Botswana.

STEEL ROOFING
Dezzo Roofing Steel has eleven roll-forming machines as well as a fully equipped cut-to-length line and bending facility. The production capacity of the factory
is around 500 tons per month that equates to roughly 90 000m² of roof support material. The factory is 1500m² under roof and a further 1000m² of yard and storage space.
� Dezzo Roofing was one of the first companies in South Africa to pioneer a lightweight steel roof support system, giving us extensive experience in this field.
� Battens and purlins are cut to length to suite every roof thus greatly reducing on-site cutting and waste.
� Can be used with concrete tiles, steel sheeting, pressed steel tiles, fibre cement sheeting.
� Our systems are manufactured from aluminium and zinc coated steel that is known to last 4 to 6 times longer than the same galvanized material (Australian testing).
� Trusses are manufactured by highly trained steel artisans and are assembled in jigs in order to maintain consistency.
� Components will not rot or warp (like timber).
� The roof system is not susceptible to termite or borer infestation.
� These systems are easily constructed, enabling a quicker installation time.
� Flexibility in terms of roof designs and roof shapes.
� Engineer designed (including Professional Indemnity Insurance).
� The roof trusses are lightweight and easy to handle.

TIMBER ROOFING
Dezzo Roofing Timber has a modern timber truss processing plant and is an approved ITC manufacturer. The factory is 400m² under roof.Timber roofing by Dezzo Roofing specialise in the manufacture and supply of treated timber roof trusses. We have been involved in a number of different projects. In 2002 Dezzo Roofing started manufacturing treated timber roof trusses initially for the RDP market but now focuses on the middle to upper income residential market as well as schools, office blocks and smaller commercial requirements. All our designs are carried out using I.T.S. software. View our
online gallery to see some of the projects we have completed.Dezzo Roofing is audited annually by the Institute for Timber Construction South Africa to ensure that the facility is kept at the high standards required by Alpine Automation and ITC. Dezzo Roofing was recently awarded the Category A manufacturer status.

STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING & ACCREDITATION
Dezzo Roofing designs are carried out by an independent structural engineering firm that is registered with the South African Institute of Civil Engineering (SAICE) as well as the South African Light Steel Frame Building Association (SASFA). For this service, Dezzo Roofing uses the services of Martin Upton Structural Technologies represented by Ian Upton.

PROJECTS
This segment of the market is usually supplied with sheeted roofing systems, however over the past few years Dezzo Roofing has worked in conjunction with a concrete tile manufacturer in order to supply communities with concrete tiled roofing systems, using our lightweight support system. This roofing solution has proven to be a winner amongst
communities, municipalities, government and developers.Dezzo Roofing also offers a range of lightweight steel systems for the RDP market. These steel systems have all the advantages offered by the steel trusses. These options include combinations such as beam or truss and sheet (galvanized or fibre cement), as well as truss and concrete tile.

Dezzo Roofing has yet to fully explore this aspect of the market. We have however, had some exposure to Industrial and Commercial Projects and are currently growing our supply
within this market. Projects that we have completed include shopping centres, housing estates, factories, schools, clinics and churches to name but a few.
