Beep was printed with several robot images

on a glow in the dark barrel and was unique

(at the time) with antique silver accents. The

name “Pop Series” was coined and used for the

so popular it would “pop” into the stores and

We had no idea the potential of this Saturn V rocket

design until its release. It sat in our warehouse for

9 months before we decided to release it in com-

memoration of the Apollo 11’s moon landing on July

19, 1969. It sold out throughout Retro retailers and

this new surf design to have an acrylic barrel reminis-

cent of 60’s surfboards’ epoxy construction. It is named

after the Beach Boy’s first #1 hit and the edition size

The release of a new Jurassic Park movie

launched this idea. To get this look we used an

acid-etching, antique brass finish and ivory spot

Dynasty is printed with a dragon, phoenix and floral

motif inspired by historical earthenware that became

popular in the Yuan Dynasty of the 13th Century. It’s

finished with stonewashed pewter accents and com-

plete with the Chinese symbol representing “fortune”

imprinted on the top disc. The number “8” is considered

lucky in Chinese culture, so the edition size is 888.
