One very important spectrum in the electromagnetic spectrum is the visible light spectrum. For visible light is the only form of electromagnetic radiation that is perceived by the human eye. When dealing with light that encompasses the visible spectrum , it is useful to discuss the brightness of light. The human eye is most sensitive to light with a wavelength which corresponds to 550nm (green). This will be important once we define what Luminous flux is.Three important quantities exist that help us describe the brightness of light. We have the Luminous Flux, luminous intensity (Candela) and the Illuminance. Luminous Flux basically pertains to how much power a certain lightwave carries. It is the measure of perceived power of visible light. Its unit is known as lumens or simply LM.We defy 683 lm = 1 watt of power carried by light with the wavelength of 555nm.Another type of quantity that helps us describe the brightness of light is the Luminous intensity or Candela. This is the luminous flux per solid angle. It expresses the directionality of energy radiated by light. Now we go to the third quantity is the Illuminance. It is the luminous flux per unit area. (lm/meter squared) It tells the radiation power that falls on to a certain area.

Voltage (Volts)Current (Ampere)Power (Watts)P = IV (Power = Current x Voltage)Watts = Volts x AmpsVolt Current - Resistance

Example:Conductor any metal like lets say Stainless SteelAng conductor na dadaan dun sa Conductor current ay electronKung gaano kabolis ang pagdaan ng electron, yun ang currentIts unit is the ampere

Voltage may be AC or DC = Alternating Current or Direct CurrentOhms Law Current = Voltage/Resistance

We take the case of one of our lights; Hatha

As you can see, we have AC:100-240V / 50-60Hz DC:12V, 1.5A under the Power Input while 6 Watts maximum under the Power Consumption

Voltage here is the 100-240V at 12V DCIts frequency is 50-60 HzCurrent is 1.5 Amps

The DC: 12V is for batteries which mainly pertains to triple As and Doube AsAC is our outlet

Hatha ay gagana kapag merong 8 na Double A batteryEach Double A battery has 1.5V; hence once you connect 8 1.5volts inseries, we have 12V

In order to get the wattage we should know the Voltage and the current .Based on our Spec sheet we have12 volts * 1.5 amps= 18 Watts (max.)

Although our Hatha only consums 6 Watts; this must mean that our product will light up even if it isnt at 12 Volts. Its either 12 or less. Thats basically how the relationship of the three works
