•The UAHuntsville laboratory for structural biology offers an excellent x-ray diffraction facility and molecular biology facility for protein expression. It is part of the Alabama Structural Biology Consortium

•Alabama A&M University in Huntsville has a masters program in biology as well as masters and doctorate programs in food science and plant and soil science.
