Superior AestheticsThere is a strong emphasis on improving the patient environ-ment in modern hospital design. The way a patient feels is affected by many factors, including the environment they are in. Careful selection of colour, textures and lighting schemes within the patient environment have been proven to aid the recovery process.

Envirom Bedhead Trunking is sup-plied with coloured plates, so the bedhead system can compliment any chosen decor, enhancing the patient environment. This makes

the ward ambience less clinical, more inviting, home like and relax-ing.

Front and side panel fascia plates are pre cut before being sent away for powder coated painting. This enables the panels to be installed next to each other with no gaps, illiminating a potential dust trap and problem for cross infection. Flush mounted electrical com-ponents also provide an easy to clean work surface.

Integral LightingIntegral high efficiency fluorescent luminaires provide a cost effective method of achieving general ward illumination and patient reading lighting.

The Envirom Bedhead Trunking system is designed to be used with T8, T5 or PLL fluorescent tubes, with high frequency electronic fixed output or dimmable ballasts.

Luminaires can be fitted with DALI or DSI compatible ballasts, offer-ing the hospital a high degree of functional control, whilst minimis-ing energy consumption - helping saving our environment.

Totally ConfigurableEach trunking unit is custom manufactured to your specific requirements. Our team of de-signers provide expert advice and support, and will even help you develop specifications for your project.

Hospitals all over the World have benefited from the Envirom bedhead trunking system. It is possible to fit medical gas termi-nal units and electrical sockets to many national standards, as well as equipment rail, nursecall, data sockets, telephone jacks, light switches, earth sockets, LED examination and reading lamps.

The use of coloured fascia panels opens up new possibilities to enhance ward decor. Envirom headwalls also provide a cost effective method of installing a wide range of ser-vices in a single factory built and tested unit.

A Range of OptionsThere are two standard widths of headwall, called V Sys (wid-est) and NV Sys (narrow). Due to the substantial service car-rying capacity of the V Sys, it is possible for a single headwall to supply two patient bedspaces, one either side of the unit.

In addition to the headwall sys-tem, luminaires can be provided for general illumination, reading and examination lighting.
