Forgotten God Small GroupsThis January you have the opportunity to grow, be encouraged, and change in a LIFEconnection small group. These groups will last for ONLY 8 WEEKS, but it will be a book and a group you never forget. We are looking for people who are willing to be a part of a group while we read the book “Forgotten God” as a church together. You can find out more about this book at www.forgottengod.com. You can also sign up for a group on the back page of this cattalog.

Types of GroupsWe have all types of people meeting in different areas who are going through different life experiences. Just fill out the Crazy Love Group section on the last page of this catalog and a Small Group Host will call you to set up a time and a day that is best for everyone! We will even offer a group on Wednesday Nights for those who would be comfortable meeting at the church.

FORGOTTEN GODGod put His Spirit in us so we could be known for our power. Sadly, most believers and churches are known for talent and intellect rather than supernatural power. Whatʼs worse is that weʼre okay with it. In Forgotten God, breakthrough author Francis Chan returns us to the Holy Spirit as the Bible describes Him and invites us to understand, embrace and follow the Holy Spiritʼs direction in our lives.

A Study of MatthewTIME: Sundays . 9:30-10:30 AM LOCATION: Classroom 11 START DATE: Jan 2nd (Join any time!)Led by Dennis Rye. Engage in exciting discussion and hear wonderful teachings. Learn new insights from the books of Galatians, Ephesians, and Phillipians.

Fellowship ClassTIME: Sundays . 9:30-10:30 AM LOCATION: Classroom 22 START DATE:Jan 2nd (Join any time!)The class is lead by Max Cummings and uses the Faith Connection denominational study material. Come enjoy the in-depth Bible study and fellowship of the other class members. Open to all interested in learning and sharing Godʼs Word.

Estudio Biblico EspanolTIME: Sunday . 10:45-11:45 AM LOCATION: Classroom 11 START DATE: Jan 2nd (Join any time!) Led by Robert Rodriguez/Anita Avila. Estudio bliblico sobre el libro "El Sendero de la Verdad” Vamos a estudiar los mayordomos de nuestro cuerpo.  Vengan a disfrutar del compañerismo, aprender mas de nuestro Señor y como cuidar nuestro cuerpo.  

Acts: The Church IgnitedTIME: Sundays . 9:30-10:30 AM LOCATION: Classroom 12 START DATE: Jan 2nd (Join any time!)Led by Judy Salazar. This class is studying the book of Acts, the historical account of the birth of the Christian Church and the spread of the gospel message.  As we journey through this history, we will be challenged and encouraged to be witnesses of the personal knowledge of the resurrected Christ and His transforming power.

Womenʼs Bible StudyTIME: Wed . 6:45-8:00 PM LOCATION: Classroom 11 START DATE: Jan 5Led by Liz Holliday & Carole Oliver. Here and Now...There and Then by Beth Moore is a DVD lecture/discussion series on the book of Revelation. Beth presents many points of view, allowing women to decide for themselves when the interpretation varies among scholars. She teaches that God is as specific about what He does reveal as He is about what He does not reveal. The workbook is $9.00 and available at Lifeway Christian Bookstores.  Homework for this study is light.

A Menʼs Study of PaulTIME: Wed . 6:45 - 8:00 PM LOCATION: The Commons START DATE: Jan 5 Led by Pastor Doug Runyan. This is a discussion-oriented study of the Apostle Paulʼs letters. The casual setting allows you to comment, to pose questions, or to simply listen as section by section Paulʼs counsel is dissected and its truths made applicable to the life of todayʼs man. While attending every week is ideal it is still profitable for men unable to make it to every session since there is a singularly clear message every week that does not necessarily rely on accumulated knowledge from previous weeks! 

Menʼs Fraternity: Winning at Work and at Home!TIME: Wed . 6:45 - 8:00 PM LOCATION: Classroom 22 START DATE: Jan 5Led by Tim Holliday. Men's Fraternity is a one-year-long study. Men's Fraternity provides men with an encouraging process that teaches them how to live lives of authentic manhood as modeled by Jesus Christ and directed by the Word of God. Men's Fraternity was designed to help men come together and strengthen each other through weekly sessions that combine biblical teaching and small group interaction.

ALPHATIME: Wed . 6:30-8:45 PM LOCATION: Classroom 12 (Chapel) START DATE: Jan 5, 2011 (13 weeks) Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, friendly setting. The Alpha course meets once per week for 10 weeks, and includes an amazing weekend getaway. Each session, people enjoy great food, laughter and learning in a fun and friendly atmosphere where no question about life or God is seen as too simple or too hostile…questions like—Is there a God? Why am I here? Where did I come from? Where am I going?

Journey Kids & YouthJourney KidsTIME: Wednesday . 6:45-8:00 PM LOCATION: Kids Classrooms (Downstairs) START DATE: Jan 5Coordinated by Pastor Stacey and taught by the Journey Kids Crew. Age appropriate classes to help each child learn the Bible and learn to connect to each other as Christians. Also, join Journey Kids on Sunday Mornings for Kids Worship in the Journey Room!

Journey YouthTIME: Sundays . 9:00-10:30 AM LOCATION: Youth Department START DATE: Jan 9Coordinated by Pastor Freddy and taught by the Journey Youth Leaders. A Class to help teens understand what the Bible has to say about many hard pressing issues! Also join the teens on Wed Night for Real Life Worship in the Journey Room!

When God Pursues a Womanʼs HeartTIME: Wed . 6:45-8:00 PM LOCATION: Prayer Chapel START DATE: Jan 5Led by Rebecca Stedman.  I invite you to join me as we embark on this journey together.  In this book God will reveal himself to us as a comforter who is patient and compassionate; a valiant knight who always comes to the rescue; an encouraging friend who cheers you on; a heavenly Father who treasures you as His child; and a prince who ransomed your heart."
