Materials Needed:
• 2 toilet paper rolls
• Construction paper
• Scissors
• Tape/glue
• Stapler
• Hole punch
• Ribbon
Welcome to Spy SchoolCalling all spy recruits! We’ll be sending you outside on a secret
mission to search your neighbourhood for clues, but first you will
need to make your own binoculars.

Cut a piece of wrapping paper or recycled magazine pages large enough to cover
each toilet paper roll. Attach with light layer of glue.
Step 1.

Attach two toilet paper rolls by wrapping it with tape on both ends of the
now-covered toilet paper tolls.
Step 2.

Cut strips of construction paper to cover the tape. Secure strips by stapling them on
the outside of the toilet paper rolls. Decorate with other craft supplies, if desired.
Step 3.

Cut a piece of yarn or ribbon about 18 to 24 inches long. Using the hole punch,
create a hole on the outer edges of the binoculars.
Step 4.

Attach the ribbon to both sides of binoculars and knot the ends.

Now grab your binoculars and you’re ready to head outside for your secret
