What is Liberty Partnerships? Program established in 1989 by Governor

Mario Cuomo to address the growing dropout rate in NY and to help build tomorrow’s workforce

Evolved into Academic Retention Program using evidence-based modalities

Funded by NYS Department of Education Services provided at NO COST to both

enrolled districts and students Full program implementation initiated 2016-

17 school year 12 month wrap-around programming
