LIBERTY ATENCIO Rise is a Co-living facility with a focus on providing a community for the creative class. Rise not only provides residents with a private bedroom and bathroom with communal living, dining, and kitchen space but also allows those residents to work together by providing two work levels. One focused on computer-based work and the other a multi-use studio space. Both allow residents to interact with each other’s projects and work, allowing growth in community and creativity. The firsts level is dedicated in part to the Innovation Gallery where residents and local innovators can display their work for the community to see, and public meeting spaces for the community to use. With a focus on creating community and rising above the changes that the world is facing together, Rise strives to provide a safe creative space for the development of the future. The apartment urban planning model breaks down the opportunity for community building and creates issues with high rental rates. A co-living facility operates very similarly to an apartment complex, but can provide more opportunities for community and also be a little cheaper than renting in a traditional apartment. Co-living has become pretty unique by giving people ways to form human connections physically in ways that some have only found Online. Growing up with technology, many people are apart of Online communities and allow them to keep in contact with people all around the world with the same interests, co-living gives people that opportunity outside of the cyberworld. For millennial and Gen-Z want to live in this type of housing model, they crave, being able to share what interest with people around them. Level 4,5,6: Kitchen and Living Area- Interior Elevation
