Routers: Cricket based– http://cricket.sourceforge.net/

• Rendering systems values– Each 5 minutes– T°, CPU, mem and interface counters

– http://netstat.in2p3.fr/• http://netstat.in2p3.fr/weathermap/graphiques/lyo-cern.html • http://netstat.in2p3.fr/weathermap/graphiques/lyo-gridka.html

Latency: Smokeping based– https://cclhcopnmon.in2p3.fr/smokeping/smokeping.cgi?target=HLHC

– Med RTT and packet loss• 20 pings per target every two minutes (through fping)• Targets from a host within our LHCOPN prefix toward:

– Hosts in LHCOPN prefixes at each sites– Routers at each site– Our distant p2p addresses (CH-CERN and DE-KIT)

Alarming system: Netsurv based– Home grown internal system not restricted to the LHCOPN

• For LHCOPN: Catching SNMP traps from border router (BGP sessions & links status)

• Keeping faults history in logfile

• Sending alarms via a client and SMS to network team

Missing– Reliable Netflow like analysis
