Lexisworks encourages us to live the authentic life that we have imagined for ourselves.

LEXISWORKS is a collection of mixed media collages full of color and joy that speaks to the true, honest places of our hearts and reveals the universal truths we all must hear. Her art is for those who wish to encourage genuine connection, support growth and inspire adventure in themselves and others.

Collages are hand assembled using old dictionaries, sewing patterns, sheet music and other collected items found at estate sales and thrift stores. Additional details are added with layers of paint, hand drawn illustrations and “words of wisdom.” Original artwork is scanned to create reproductions.

INSPIRATIONI gather artifacts from personal journeys, thrift stores, estate sales and the outdoors. Much like us, each of these gems has a story to tell; its own truth to be revealed.

I find much inspiration and solace nature – there’s something so simple and honest about exploring the natural world that connects me with my authentic self. This helps me to shine a light on the raw, honest and truthful messages I feel we can all relate too.

The authenticity of the raw, natural state of the outdoors combined with the vintage bits and snippets brings my art to life and inspires me to create genuinely honest works to be explored.
