My story started three and a half years ago, when AIESEC

began to shape my reality, my vision, my goals and finally, my life,

giving me the knowledge, the skills and most importantly the

behavior that I needed to achieve great things and push my limits

towards the impossible. Today, as a newly elected Vice President of

Talent Management and Local Committee Development in the

national team of AIESEC in Slovakia, I can truthfully say that this local

committee is the one that empowered me to take everything that

the organization has to offer. In AIESEC Craiova I managed to grow

up by being around smart people, I managed to find what drives me

by staying close to people who are so passionate about what they

do, that they can move mountains, I got to know myself personally

and professionally, I found out what I can do and what I am good at.

I learned here that things are never easy, that you firstly need to fall

down a couple of times to be able to rise up and stand tall on your

feet, I learned about ambition, about fighting for what you believe in,

I learned how to stay true to my principles and values.

This organization gave me the proper knowledge to excel,

the behavior to keep on going forward, the people that I needed to

inspire me. AIESEC Craiova has given me the chance to learn how to

be a good team member, a good team leader, it pushed me to the

utmost feeling of responsibility, by giving me the chance to work in an

amazing Executive Board team filled with people that motivated me

to push forward, it gave me the chance to see what a year abroad

means, in another AIESEC country and it doesn’t seem to stop.

I am writing these words for AIESEC

Craiova and its alumni, with the greatest

feeling of honor and the pride of being part of

a network that is bringing value, impact and

inspiration throughout generations.

In 2013, this LC is giving me the chance to approach

internationalism from a different perspective, as an exchange

paticipant and most importantly, the chance of continuing the

tradition of having Romania present in AIESEC in Slovakia.

To AIESEC Craiova I say that you should dream bigger and

bigger every day, that you have the potential to be even more

amazing, that you are sitting on a legacy of 21 generations that have

pushed us forward and closer to the highest level of performance,

that you should think big, be ambitious and have the faith that

together, as ONE AIESEC, you can overachieve and go beyond limits.

To our Alumni I say thank you, for building the foundation

that made us grow, develop and come one step closer to the vision

and values that we have as an organization, for having been the role

models that we needed.

Stay close to AIESEC Craiova and offer them your valuable

contribution and celebrate with them the successes that are yet to

come.
