Life’s Dreams - Internal
Moments of
Flow/Resonance
DREAM
How do I want to feel on a daily
basis?
1
PREPARATION
What does it take to feel that way?
2
OBSTACLES
What prevents you from feeling that
way?
3
REVISIT THE DREAM
What will it take to recapture that feeling?
4
Internal Dream
I want to feel meaningful by serving a bigger goal and being rewarded for it. I also want to feel intense and independent (“freedom to”) like I’m running a 100 meters distance on a smooth track for the World record.
Preparation
Action Reason
Persistence - Mastery requires determination
Hard work - Repetition leads to mastery
Schooling - Provides tools
Gaining experience - Helps avoid unnecessary mistakes
Obstacles
• Fear of failure– Risk for wealth and success
• Fear of rejection– Obligation “People expect me to perform
at this level”
Revisiting the Dream
• Answer following questions:– Why am I doing what I am doing?– What did I want to feel when I decided to start doing it?– What will it take to regain that dream?
• Conclusion:– Allocate certain amount to saving a/c and move on– Talk to my customers, see how excited they are and I
will love what I do and people would love me for that.
