Daniel 9:3-9

3 So I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with him in prayer and petition, in fasting, and in sackcloth and ashes.

4 I prayed to the LORD my God and confessed:

“Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and keep his commandments, 5 we have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws. 6 We have not listened to your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, our princes and our ancestors, and to all the people of the land.

7 “Lord, you are righteous, but this day we are covered with shame—the people of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and all Israel, both near and far, in all the countries where you have scattered us because of our unfaithfulness to you. 8 We and our kings, our princes and our ancestors are covered with shame, LORD, because we have sinned against you. 9 The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him;

President’s Blessing

Dear Most Gracious Father,

The President is already blessed. I ask that you continue to bless and prosper as obedience occurs. Your commands will be fully obeyed by the President. The evidence will be seen by the President’s work and home life.

Thank you so much!

In Jesus Name,

Amen

No one will be able to stand against you. The LORD your God, as he promised you, will put the terror and fear of you on the whole land, wherever you go. See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse— the blessing if you obey the commands of the LORD your God that I am giving you today; (Deuteronomy 11:25-27)

If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God. (Deuteronomy 28:1, 3)

The LORD will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The LORD your God will bless you in the land he is giving you. (Deuteronomy 28:8)

President’s Obedience

Dear Father God,

Your word proclaims that obedience is better than sacrifice. This is a prayer for the President’s obedience to You and Your word. Obeying Your Word brings blessings. Let obedience be the President’s first response and let the evidence show forth in an overflow of blessings making the President’s work prosper. The obedience will cause You to listen and answer. It will go well when the President is obedient.

In Jesus Name,

Amen!

Walk in obedience to all that the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess. Deuteronomy 5:33

You have declared this day that the LORD is your God and that you will walk in obedience to him, that you will keep his decrees, commands and laws—that you will listen to him. Deuteronomy 26:17

But I gave them this command: Obey me, and I will be your God and you will be my people. Walk in obedience to all I command you, that it may go well with you.” Jeremiah 7:23

President’s Hope

Dear Father God,

Let hope flow in and through the President. Hope is the substance of faith. Let perseverance produce the character then character produce hope. Let hope abound in conversations, speeches, and all communication. Hoping in You God eliminates shame. May the President walk in the protection of integrity and uprightness because hope is placed in You. Hope is found in Your word and law. Let there be hope for the future and continue on into the next generation.

In Jesus Name,

Amen

“Perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.” Romans 5:4-5

No one who hopes in you will ever be put to shame, but shame will come on those who are treacherous without cause.

May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope, LORD, is in you. Psalms 25:21

Never take your word of truth from my mouth, for I have put my hope in your laws. Psalm 119:43

There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.

President’s Boldness

Dear God,

Your word says that boldness is an overflow of hope. May the President have boldness like Abraham. Abraham asked you to save others from destruction. The boldness is because of righteousness as a lion. Praying for the ability to speak Your word in the midst of threats. Also, let written communication be as bold.

In Jesus Name,

Amen

Then Abraham spoke up again: “Now that I have been so bold as to speak to the Lord, though I am nothing but dust and ashes, Genesis 18:27

The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion. Proverbs 28:1

Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. Acts 4:29

Yet I have written you quite boldly on some points to remind you of them again, because of the grace God gave me. Romans 15:15

Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold. 2 Corinthians 3:12

President’s Taking Action

Father,

In Jesus name, let the President make bold decisive actions. Faith without action is dead. Works will come forth as doing the Word and not just hearing it. Let there be change in ways and dealing justly with others. Cause the President to follow after Moses in leadership and action. All actions are done in love, the fruit of the Spirit. Each of the actions tested to see if done in faith.

Amen.

If you really change your ways and your actions and deal with each other justly, Jeremiah 7:5

Moses was educated in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was powerful in speech and action. Acts 7:22

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Romans 12:9

“Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else.” Galatians 6:4

President’s Understanding of Others

Father God in Heaven,

Help the President to have understanding that Your law is kept. Hearing what others say is part of understanding so let listening be a priority. Understanding should be because of obedience to Your word and surpass others. The President is blessed because the increase in understanding. Patience needs to be a result of understanding and avoidance of opinion giving is a display of good understanding. Let Jesus be the example to model good understanding!

In Jesus Name,

Amen.

May the LORD give you discretion and understanding when he puts you in command over Israel, so that you may keep the law of the LORD your God. 1 Chronicles 22:12

“If you have understanding, hear this; listen to what I say. Job 34:16 I have more understanding than the elders, for I obey your precepts.

Psalm 119:100 Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding,

Proverbs 3:13 Whoever is patient has great understanding, but one who is quick-

tempered displays folly. Proverbs 14:29 Fools find no pleasure in understanding but delight in airing their

own opinions. Proverbs 18: Everyone who heard him was amazed at his understanding and his

answers. Luke 2:47

President’s Prayer Weapon – Defeating the Enemy

Dear Father,

Listen to the President’s cry for help during prayer. May the President seek you with requests, supplications, and petitions. Your face will be sought and found by the President. Turn Your ear and hear what is said even in the heart. Give the victory through Jesus!

Blessings to you Father with much thanksgiving for hearing this prayer!

In Jesus name,

Amen!

Yet give attention to your servant’s prayer and his plea for mercy, LORD my God. Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is praying in your presence this day. 1 Kings 8:28

Then hear thou their prayer and their supplication in heaven thy dwelling place, and maintain their cause, 1Kings 8:49 (KJV)

Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. (2 Chronicles 7:15)

I call on you, my God, for you will answer me; turn your ear to me and hear my prayer. Psalm 17:6

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. (Ephesians 6:18)

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—(1 Timothy 2:1)

President’s Wisdom

Father God,

Wisdom is a grand part of ruling people. Like Joshua, let the Your Spirit of wisdom be in the President. Let Solomon be the example for the President to follow. Fear of You, Lord God is the beginning of wisdom so it is important for the President to reverence and respect You. I pray that wisdom to flow from the President and no one will be able to resist it.

In Jesus Mighty Name,

Amen

And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses. (Deuteronomy 34:9, KJV)

God said to Solomon, “Since this is your heart’s desire and you have not asked for wealth, possessions or honor, nor for the death of your enemies, and since you have not asked for a long life but for wisdom and knowledge to govern my people over whom I have made you king,(2 Chronicles 1:11)

The mouths of the righteous utter wisdom, and their tongues speak what is just. (Psalms 37:30)

For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict. (Luke 21:15)

Instruct the wise and they will be wiser still; teach the righteous and they will add to their learning.

President’s Humility

Dear Lord God,

Humility comes before honor and grace is give to the humble. My prayer is for the President to be an role model of humility. Let not pride rule over him and when it is evident let repentance be the President’s first response. Others will know him by his humility and ability to put other’s concerns above his own.

In Blessed name of Jesus,

Amen.

Wisdom’s instruction is to fear the LORD, and humility comes before honor. (Proverbs 15:33)

Humility is the fear of the LORD; its wages are riches and honor and life. (Proverbs 22:4)

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, (Philippians 2:3)

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. (Colossians 3:12)

In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”(1 Peter 5:5)

President’s Salvation

Gracious Heavenly Father,

I pray for the President’s salvation. You are the God of His salvation. His salvation is from You in Christ Jesus. The only name, Jesus, to save His people from their sins is above every other name. Give the President Godly sorrow that leads to repentance.

These things I ask in Jesus name.

Amen.

President’s Family Life

Father God,

The family life of the President should be in alignment with your word. I pray that the President loves his wife with faithfulness, kindness, and compassion. She will in turn submit and love Him. President’s Response to Email and Poem

November 26, 2012

Dear Friend:

I want to thank you for your message and for holding me in your prayers. My family and I are honored that so many Americans have supported us in this special way.

Our country faces enormous challenges, but each day I

am uplifted by the enduring spirit of the American people. I know we will meet these challenges if our optimism and hope are met with the necessary will and hard work.

We understand that “the strength to go on produces

character. Character produces hope. And hope will never let us down,” (Romans 5: 4-5). In these times of trial and opportunity, I deeply appreciate your prayers for our country, my family, and me. May God bless you.

Sincerely,

Barack Obama
