March 12, 2012 Law School Admission Council 662 Penn Street P.O. Box 8508 Newtown, PA 18940 Re: Marwan Abdallah Dear Law School Admission Council: I am writing this letter of recommendation for and on behalf of Mr. Marwan Abdallah with respect to his legal education and potential on becoming an honorable member of the Bar. I currently serve as a United States Fulbright Scholar in Law, United States Fulbright PEER Review Committee Member – Global / Public Health, and am the UCLA Visiting Scholar in Public Health, UCLA School of Public Health. I have known Marwan for approximately five years; and I have interacted with him on numerous occasions as he has assisted me as a Research Assistant for a number of legal treatises, law review articles and legal presentations. Accordingly, I believe I am fully qualified to write this letter on his behalf. In working with Marwan on complex legal issues – which are the subjects of my extensive legal research and writing – it became immediately evident that Marwan was very clear thinking and organized – and, most importantly, that Marwan could grasp complex legal theories and conduct meaningful legal research with excellent results. Marwan conducted his legal research with a critical intensity which focused on the legal issues in quite an expert fashion. When it came time for Marwan to discuss his findings with me, it became very clear that Marwan had the keen ability to sharply focus on the important legal concepts and identify the areas in which certain legal concepts would intersect. Marwan was comfortable with his presentations of his research – because it was clear he was comfortable with his understanding of the law and the pertinent relevant issues. His work ethic was intense as was his preparation and scholarship. Marwan will, no doubt, become a most honorable member of the Bar – he takes his studies quite seriously, relentlessly prepares for excellence, and truly strives to be the absolute best he can be – at whatever task he accepts. I recommend him without hesitation for the next phase of his legal education; he will be a true asset at which ever law school he decides to attend – his work product speaks loudly for his dedication and passion toward the profession of law. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at any time. Respectfully submitted,
