    To,

    The Secretary

    ABCD Residents Association

    243/3 National Road

    Place

Subject: Highlight certain anomalies and my concerns

    Dear Sir,

I would like to bring to your notice that over the last couple of months there has been certain decisions

taken and implemented for the welfare of the residents of ABCD Enclave. I would first like to welcome

and appreciate the effort of these team however the area where I am finding myself uncomfortable is

that these decisions are being taken and implemented without a formal meeting being called for and

    without consulting residents like me.

Three recent instances that come to my mind are

    1. Fixing up of an one time expense for each flat for the civil and paint work. The same was later

changed to monthly mode post my request to the office bearers. This could have been

avoided if we could have discussed the same in a meeting if it was called.

    2. Recruitment of guards on an adhoc basis due to the leave taken by Vinod Singh to visit his

village for two months. Vinod Singh must have told you about his plans well in advance. We

were informed by a letter post his departure that a guard has been recruited for couple of

months and an extra amount would have to be borne by the residents over and above the

monthly maintenance. This decision was again taken without a formal discussion.

    3. Yesterday I was verbally informed by our cleaning staff Mr. Paswan that from next monthonward the monthly maintenance amount has been increased to 850 (no formal meeting, no

formal communication), When I asked him, he answered me that has been instructed to

    inform the residents.

As a resident of ABCD Enclave and owner of two units, I am equally interested in the well being,

maintainance and upkeep of the rules and regulation of this association and would like to abide by the

same and I would like to put it on records that I have no issue with sharing the legitimate expenses

for this complex. However my concern and difference of opinion with this elected body is that the

decisions are being taken unilaterlaly without consulting the residents (atleast I am not part of this

decison making). No meeting has been called for lately. Hence I would like register my protest

formally by paying my dues as usual but would not like to bear any increment till such time a formal

meeting is called for the residents.I would request the office bearers through you to spare some

thought to my views so that we all can arrive at a mutually satisfying and democtratic way of arriving

at decisions in future through communication and consensus.

    With Regards
