As executive director and board president, I have worked very closely with Mr. Wiedeman over the past four years and he has been a valuable asset in our organization's continued growth and success. Mr. Wiedeman had been a true champion for our youth outreach and arts education program. Our (m)oving words project, launched at the start of the 2012-2013 school year, is an arts- based early literacy development program, which he helped to develop and implement. He also helped guide our organization through a restructuring while also building our website, focusing our branding elements, and providing key insights into improving our business operations. During our 2013 executive board retreat, Mr. Wiedeman was brought in to lead several workshops and was instrumental in advising us on issues such as budgeting, marketing, fundraising, personnel organization and efficient operations management. I had the personal honor of working side-by-side with Mr. Wiedeman when I produced the musical Really Rosie for A-Squared Theatre Workshop, one of our sister organizations. Working in several areas of the production process, he provided key insights that allowed us to keep production costs down, manage some difficult contracts, and create an artistically and financially successful production that delighted audiences. Mr. Wiedeman is a conscientious, diligent, and carries a vast body of knowledge uniquely diversified in all aspects of business management. He demonstrates well-honed management skills, leadership, and financial acumen. In addition, he is extremely enthusiastic, driven, and an all around likeable professional. It is with high regard that we recommend Mr. Wiedeman, he brings tremendous value to any organization and is a true gem. Sincerely, Ginger Leopoldo Board President
