Javier Villanueva was the Loss Prevention Associate for the Home Depot store that I managed in Plano, Texas. I considered him to be one of the most essential parts of my management team.
Unlike many Loss Prevention professionals, Javier is always able to see how interconnected the various areas of retail management have to be for the business to succeed as a whole. He assisted in all areas of the business and was always a team player.
Javier is never content to perform just his stated job duties. He is an innovative thinker who is constantly looking for ways to improve processes and procedures, and for techniques to motivate other associates. He realizes that the key to successfully managing people is to create an inclusive atmosphere. Because of this he was always one of the most respected members of my team.
I can highly recommend Javier for ANY position that he chooses to pursue, whether it continues to be in Loss Prevention or other fields of management. He is truly a man of great integrity who possesses unparalleled leadership abilities.
