Lund 2016-02-18 Letter of Recommendation for Dovilė Gedvilaitė Dear Sir or Madam, Dovilė Gedvilaitė has been a student at the 2 year Master of Applied Cultural Analysis programme at the Department of Arts & Cultural Sciences, division of European Ethnology, Lund University. As a teacher I have both seen Doviles work in classes and seminars as well as tutoring her on an applied project in the course Fieldwork and Project Management her internship (full 10 weeks internship) at Healthy Marketing Team, working with the project Digest Innovation. I have also been the tutor of her Master thesis. During all different tasks, Gedvilaitė has completed her work with excellent results. She is an ambitious person that completes her tasks within the given time frame. She is responsive to feed back, always willing to improve her work. Whilst working with applied cultural analysis, an analytical approach characteristic for the tradition of our department, Gedvilaitė has shown strength in collecting material through ethnographic fieldwork, and compiling and analyse it with cultural theory. She also has a very good knowledge of the research field food and innovation. Her work with the project Digest innovationaiming to improve the innovation capacity within established structures have been widely acknowledged both within the university and with the business partners. Dovilė Gedvilaitė has been a student at the 2 year Master of Applied Cultural Analysis programme at

the Department of Arts & Cultural Sciences, division of European Ethnology, Lund University. As a

teacher I have both seen Dovile’s work in classes and seminars as well as tutoring her on an applied

project in the course Fieldwork and Project Management her internship (full 10 weeks internship) at
