Reference for Corinna MunteanBaldwin Center Volunteer

To Whom It May Concern:

It is my privilege to write this letter of reference for Ms. Corinna Muntean. Ms. Muntean volunteered with the Baldwin Center on November 12 for work-day, as part of a group of student volunteers from Oakland University. Ms. Muntean coordinated a large group of her fellow students to satisfy a volunteerism/service-learning requirement. I communicated via email with Ms. Muntean a few times before the six-hour event, providing logistics and answering her thoughtful and preparative questions.

Ms. Muntean also coordinated with the Oakland University AmeriCorps Vista Worker, who tracks student service-learning opportunities for the purposes of engaging more students in volunteerism. She showed initiative and an awareness and responsibility in tracking her service and helping get others engaged, too.

The Baldwin Center is a comprehensive human services agency serving the Pontiac, Michigan community. Since 1981, Baldwin has been feeding, clothing, educating, and empowering men, women, and children. The success of the organization has been because of its effectiveness at developing and maintaining relationships with a diverse range of people – those who come to serve and be served. We believe that everyone who comes through our doors sees both sides of that coin. We are grateful to have had Corinna’s support, and we look forward to working with her again in the future.

I am happy to provide this letter of reference on her behalf. Should you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly.
