Dear Juan,

I am pleased to inform you that you have been admitted to the iteachTEXAS alternative certification program. You have

been given access to the Statement of Eligibility for Internship / Payroll Deduction form, which can be copied. On this form

are listed all of the content areas in which a district may hire you to teach and in which you are eligible for initial certification.

As you attend job fairs, send in applications and go through the interview process, this form provides proof to school

districts that you are enrolled in an alternative certification program as required by the State Board for Educator Certification

(SBEC).

At this time you have also been given access to instructNET instructional modules. Once you successfully complete a

module, you will be moved on to the next module. Modules are not released sooner than one per week and all ten instructional

modules must be accomplished within six months of the time you sign your Letter of Agreement. Additionally, please visitthe secure side of the website/instructNET, www.iteachtexas.com frequently to be aware of messages, deadlines and

program updates. You will be responsible for all information posted on the secure site and in instructNET. Additionally, you

are required to update your personal information in instructNET.

Upon obtaining a teaching position, ask the school district's personnel office to complete the district portion of the Statement

of Eligibility / Payroll Deduction form. You must sign Section 4, on the second page, to acknowledge your payroll deduction.

Please have the district send or fax the completed form to the iteachTEXAS office. Once received in our office, you will

be enrolled in MOD200 where you will obtain instructions for applying for your probationary certificate. If you are not

contacted by a supervisor within two weeks of starting your teaching assignment please contact the i teachTEXAS office.

Finally, if any school district would like to know more about our program, please provide them with contact information. We
