News from Kindergarten Room 22
Thank you for all the wonderful Valentines and to all my
parents
who sent in amazing teats for our party. You sure do know how
to
make a teacher feel special! I was very proud that most of the
stu-
dents were able to write out their cards all by themselves.
Homework this week is practicing the letter Ww. With the 4
day
week, students may turn their homework in again on Monday.
We
also start a new Theme in Harcourt: Animal Adventures. Have
fun
with the new Homework Helper coming home today!
I have a nice stack of kids who have sent in their March of
Dimes
registration cards. It is my goal to have 100% of my class
participate
in this reading activity! We read anyway, why not put it toward
a
good cause?How are your sock puppets coming? I cant wait to see
your
creations line our hallway walls!
Upcoming Events:
Wednesday, Thanks to out PTA we have a RainForest Assembly with
Live animals!
February Book Orders are due on or before Tues.Feb. 28th
Walking Club Began Today and will continue everymorning from
8:00-8:15. I hope to join on a couple
mornings as well!
Drug Are Trash orders & payments due of February27th
Special Author Visit John Steven Gurney Wed.March 28th - Book
Order from the author is due
