Insecte

They are over 400 million years old

three main parts: a head, a thorax and an abdomen

there is insect which contain wings (Pterygota, majority)

there is insect without any wings (Apterygota)

Fish Fish are superbly designed for the water life

Fish are superbly designed for the water life .

Fish have got a skeleton made of bones

They breathe with gills which contain a number of tiny blood vessels and capillaries

There are fishes which live in the fresh water

There are fish which inhabits seas and oceans but freshwater as well

Some fish feed on meat (a number of sharks, piranhas) whereas other ones feed on plankton, insects

Amphibians

Amphibians are over 300 million years old.

The larval stage is undergone in water while larvae have to breathe with their gills. Mature animals use lungs in order to breathe the atmospheric oxygen.

The amphibians use lungs for their breathing.

they have to inhale by swallowing.

The Amphibian class into two groups: newts and frogs.

Reptiles Reptiles are a

lot different compared to amphibians.

Reptiles finalize the transfer from the water to the land. Their body is protected by a dry skin.

Reptiles lay eggs into the water.

Birds are extremely old animals. First birds lived 140 million years ago!

Bird Class includes a number of animals which differ in size, food habits, locomotion, vocalization, colour etc. Some birds take care of their small young others do not.

kingdom. They are over 200 million yeas old and lived even at the age of the dinosaurs.
