You will need •White paper•Scissors•A plate•Glitter and glue or glitter pen•Pencil•Sparkly thread or sticky tac to hang the snowflakes

How to make the snowflakesThere is quite a lot of cutting out as part of this activity so you will need the help of an adult.

On a sheet of white paper draw around a round plate and cut out the circle.

Then fold the circle in half.

Fold in half again.

Fold in half again.

Turn the folded paper so that the point is away from you and draw a design that starts and ends on the curved edge. (See examples below)

Very carefully cut around your line.

Now very carefully open out your paper to find a beautiful and unique snowflake!

If you like you can decorate this with silver glitter to make it sparkle.

Ask an adult to help you put them up using sparkly thread or sticky tac.
