Product designers andengineers use CADsolutions to createand model a 3D file oftheir design. To uploadin Twikbot, they willexport the file in .obj or.stl format.

Designers use the Twikbot Product Creator to upload the 3D assets, add the parametrization and create the customization blueprint (template). This happens once for each new product that the brand wants to launch. The template can always be updated.

Twikbot automatically creates the front-end interface and pushes it to the website, webshop or app through the front-end integration API.

End users create their unique product in real-time in 3D via the intuitive customizer. Alternatively, this product can also be created based on a 3D scan input. An infinite amount of unique configurations can be created.

When the end user finalizes a product customization and confirms the order, Twikbot automatically creates the production file in the cloud based on the unique configuration. An infinite amount of production files can be created at once and at high speed.

The product ispackaged and shippedto the warehouse ofchoice or to the end user directly. In this final stage (and in all other manufacturing stages) feedback to Twikbot is possible depending on the level of integration.

The manufacturing file needs to be prepared for actual production like 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC milling and other. The file will be fixed (if needed), positioned in the machine build and processed so the machine can build it. Many service bureaus have these steps automated.

The machine (3D printer, lasercutter, CNC, etc) produces the file in the desired materials and techniques. The outcome is a physical product part.

Depending on the briefing, the product part can be polished, cleaned, coated and/or assembled.

The file is delivered to the factory through the production API. Smaller factories can download the file manually from the Twikbot back-end.
