Our Call to Worship is from Luke 9:20-22 Jesus said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Peter answered, "The Messiah of God." He sternly ordered and commanded them not to tell anyone, saying, "The Son of Man must undergo great suffering, and be rejected by the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised."

Opening Prayer:Let us pray: Almighty and ever-living God, we gather to marvel at the mystery of Christ’s resurrection. In boldness you exalted the humble and empowered the weak. In strength you snatched victory from the jaws of death. In love you declared your crucified son the savior of the world. We celebrate this good news in an Easter festival of life. With you, we join in this gladsome day. We pray this in Jesus name who taught us: Our Father, who art in heaven…

Luke 23:50-56 p. 860 Now there was a good and righteous man named Joseph, who, though a member of the council, [51] had not agreed to their plan and action. He came from the Jewish town of Arimathea, and he was waiting expectantly for the kingdom of God. [52] This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. [53] Then he took it down, wrapped it in a linen cloth, and laid it in a rock-hewn tomb where no one had ever been laid. [54] It was the day of Preparation, and the sabbath was beginning. [55] The women who had come with him from Galilee followed, and they saw the tomb and how his body was laid. [56] Then they returned, and prepared spices and ointments. On the sabbath they rested according to the commandment.

Our Words of Stewardship are from James 1:25 But those who look into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and persevere, being not hearers who forget but doers who act--they will be blessed in their doing. Let us now receive our tithes and offerings.
