This year, Discovery Bay is bringing you and your loved ones modern Christmas installations with a
perfect blend of traditional festive elements and three-dimensional geometric art, embracing the

Joining the celebration is Bizircus, an acrobatic troupe from Australia. Bizircus will be staging an exclusive
Christmas Acrobatic Parade Party and thrilling the audiences with highly-skilled talents under the
sparkling lights. Get ready to join the Let it glow! Christmas Celebration @ Discovery Bay!
Being invited as a special guest performing group, Bizircus is coming all the way from Perth, Australia and
presenting a specially choreographed acrobatic show dedicated to the Christmas celebration at
Discovery Bay. The talented team will stage a spectacular four-day Christmas Acrobatic Parade Party at
Discovery Bay. Join us to enjoy this one-of-its-kind performance at Discovery Bay!
The Geometric Snowman Brigade is all set to greet visitors upon their arrival at Discovery Bay and along
the waterfront promenade. In the middle of the promenade stands a surreal Glowing Christmas Tree,
and visitors are invited to soak up the romantic ambience and admire the ever-changing patterns as light
plays on the stunning geometric art piece during day and night. Adding to Discovery Bay’s festive spirit,
the Fantasia Christmas Cottage at DB North Plaza is filled with warmth and love emanating from the
multi-coloured collage art, perfectly complemented by geometric Christmas tree and snowman.

A) Christmas Acrobatic Parade Party - Australian acrobatic troupe Bizircus leads an exclusive
Christmas parade available only at Discovery Bay
Being invited as a special guest performing group, Bizircus is coming all the way from Perth,
Australia and putting on a new romantic comedy with an acrobatic twist, dedicated to the
Christmas celebration at Discovery Bay. Entertainers from Hong Kong will take part in all of the eight
interactive shows across four days – definitely a party not to be missed!
Event Details:
Date: 23rd-26th December (Sunday to Wednesday)
Time: 6pm and 8pm
Venue: The parade starts from Discovery Bay Pier and continues down the waterfront promenade
to DB Plaza
Cost: Free Entry
(Entertainers from the parade team will meet and greet everyone at 3pm and 5pm; each
session will last for 30 minutes)

B) Festive decorations: Let It Glow! Christmas Celebration @ Discovery Bay

1) Discovery Bay Pier and D’Deck Waterfront Promenade:
a. Geometric Snowman Brigade
The members of the Geometric Snowman Brigade send their warmest greeting to visitors at
Discovery Bay Pier and D’Deck. Immerse yourself in the festive spirit with the cute, aesthetic
snowman brigade!
b. Glowing Christmas Tree
Take a stroll along the waterfront promenade nearby D’Deck, where the dazzling, Illuminated Christmas
Tree lights up the promenade. The magnificent Christmas tree sprinkled with twinkly snowflakes, will set
everyone’s spirits ablaze. Surely it will be the best place to be at the most enchanting time of year.

2) DB North Plaza:
a. Fantasia Christmas Cottage
DB North Plaza celebrates the holiday season with the multi-coloured Fantasia Christmas Cottage, a
contemporary work of collage art. The specially-designed swirling Christmas tree is here to enhance
the festive spirit, with its striking geometric designs and phenomenal lighting displays, all of which
intertwine to create a perfect photo taking spot. The Gracieux Christmas Cadre, featuring collage
patterns and traditional Christmas decorations, is also set up at the DB North Plaza for visitors to
take amazing selfies.
b. Indulge in the romantic ambience at Love Lock Promenade
The Love Lock Promenade at DB North Plaza has long been a “must-go” destination for couples. This
year, the Love Lock Promenade is adorned with glittering Christmas lights, setting the scene for
lovers to celebrate magical moments as the lights twinkle, with the ocean as the witness of their
loving promises.

C) Discovery Bay Christmas Sunday Market1 – experience the sensational vibrant surroundings of our fun-filled
European-style bazaar. With over 103 stalls and a huge collection of exclusive holiday gifts – hand-made

amazing Christmas Sunday Market gives you everything and all under one roof!

Discovery Bay Winter Redemption 2018
Starting from 1st December, upon designated spending# at any of the designated D’Deck or DB
North Plaza restaurants2 and presentation of the original same-day receipt for validation at “Dine
‘N Ride Service Counter”, patrons can redeem a Discovery Bay limited edition gift. There is a
limited quota of 1000, available on a first-come first-served basis while stock lasts.

I. Upon consumption of HK$400 or above in a single transaction at any of the designated D'Deck or
DB North Plaza restaurants2 and presentation of the original same-day receipt, patrons can redeem

Drawn by two European thoroughbreds, the Christmas Horse-drawn Carriage Ride offers a
memorable experience for couples and families (a maximum of four people are allowed in one
carriage per ride) exploring the Discovery Bay North area. With breath-taking views along the coast
and European-style architecture lining the route, visitors will feel like they are in Europe celebrating
Christmas!
Date: 24th-26th December (Monday to Wednesday)
Time: 10 am-12 noon and 2 pm-6 pm
Duration: Around 10 minutes per ride

Upon dine-in consumption of every HK$120 at any of the designated D’Deck or DB North Plaza
restaurants1 and presentation of the original on-day receipt for validation at “Dine ‘N Ride Service
Counter” to enjoy a Free Ride back to town on the same day4.
2. Bus Interchange Discount by DB North Plaza
DB North Plaza offers a Bus Interchange Discount5 when departing from DB North Plaza to Sunny
Bay, Tung Chung or DB Bus Terminus.
H) About Discovery Bay

Discovery Bay is served by a comprehensive transport network that includes the 24-hour ferry service to
Central, bus services to Tung Chung MTR Station, Sunny Bay MTR Station and Hong Kong International
Airport. A Free Ride is offered to diners at designated restaurants5 at D’Deck and DB North Plaza, and a
discount on bus fare is also available at DB North Plaza. Both urban and Lantau taxis can access Auberge
Discovery Bay Hong Kong through the Discovery Bay Tunnel, providing a convenient alternative for
residents and visitors.

Kong. Each ride will last about 10 minutes and a maximum of 4 people are allowed in one carriage per ride. For details, please

4 Dine ‘N Ride is valid only for dinner consumption (6pm to 11:30pm) from Monday to Friday, and for lunch / dinner
consumption (12 noon to 11:30pm) on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. Customers should redeem and use the offer
within the day of consumption. The “Dine ‘N Ride Service Counter” is located at the glasshouse near Discovery Bay Pier.
The free ferry times are from 7:30pm to 12am on weekdays and from 1pm to 12am on Saturdays, Sundays and public
holidays.
To Tung Chung - the free bus ride times are from 7:30pm to 1am on weekdays and from 1pm to 1am on Saturdays, Sundays
and public holidays.
To Sunny Bay - the free bus ride times are from 7:30pm to 12:20am on weekdays and from 1pm to 12:20am on Saturdays,
Sundays and public holidays.
5Bus Discount Fare applies to all visitors of DB North Plaza. Tap your Octopus card at the “Bus Fare Saving Station” next to
Wellcome Supermarket or Uncle Russ Coffee, and use your Octopus card for any bus departing from DB North Plaza within
the next 45 minutes (except to Hong Kong International Airport) to enjoy a discount fare at HK$4.4.
