LESSONS LEARNED

A Lesson Learned is knowledge or understanding gained byexperience. Frequent lessons learned highlight strength or

weakness in planning, design and implementation thataffect performance, outcome and impact.

In IRIS, the Lessons Learned module provides a tool to define, store and shareexperiences, considered important for other users. The module is an importantpart in experience transfer.

Lessons Learned can be defined by their own as standalones, or as a result fromanalysing an accident or incident report.
