WORLD TICKET IMAGE (WTI)

þ Instructor’s Notes

The World Ticket Image (WTI) is a template that contains multiple

screens. A minimum of 2 screens are required to complete the

manual pricing process. The number of screens will vary

depending on the number of segments and PTCs in the PNR. A

maximum of 16 flight segments, including surface segments, and

4 PTCs may be priced using WTI.

The basic entry to display the WTI template from a displayed PNR

is 4/MR. If the user does not want to store the fare for all segments

or all PTCs in the PNR, segment select and/or PTC select may be

GUIDELINES

• Tab to each area and fill in the necessary information.

• The mandatory areas are bolded.

• Insert and delete keys should not be used when filling in the template.

• If the first or last character of each field is moved or typed over, an error response may be received upon entering. If this occurs, enter 4/MR-IE. This entry ignores the error and redisplays the template to its original state. This eliminates the need to re-type correct data.

• The response to the 4/MR entry, is a "book" for the first PTC in the PNR. Each book contains up to 4 air segments.

• When all books for all PTCs are completed and entered, the final screen is displayed.

• The final screen provides options to ignore the ticket record, review the WTI or the ticket record, or include optional fields (e.g., commission, tour number, etc.), prior to storing the

FINAL SCREEN After all books for all segments and PTCs have been completed,

the final screen of the template will be displayed. This screen

provides tabable entries to allow the user to store the fare, review

the ticket record, ignore the ticket record, or include optional fields

prior to storing the ticket record.

The top line of this screen "OK USD ADT 1167.25." indicates that

the previous screens were accepted and allows the user to verify

that the total price is correct. When tabbing to any of the optional

fields that include a PTC, overlay the letters "PTC" with the

Passenger Type Code being priced, type the desired information

after the dash, and <ENTER>. The final screen will be

redisplayed. To verify any additions or modifications, enter 4*T to

display the ticket record before storing the fare. *Note: Each final
