(10 min) Greetings

Greetings song: If youre happy Whats today / whats the date today?

Jazz chant (see below)2. Vocabulary

(10 min)

Present: flashcards/ word cards in order below in usual form: (chant/action)

chess/ dancing/ hockey/ football/ skipping rope/ flying kites

Activate Matching activities Jazz chant3. Listening and Speaking

(10 min)Guided Practice: Language focus (poster) put the pictures on the board (chess/ football)

Practice language with the whole class

A: What do you like to do?

B: Play chess. How about you?

A: I like football.

Divide the class into 2 groups A & B

Public groups

Public pairs

P/P in their groups4. Group Activity: Communicative Practice

(10 min) Place all the pictures on the board.

Explain that any hobby/ games can be chosen from the pictures on the board or what they would like to do. Model first T & P : point to the different hobbies you are choosing Public pairs x 2
