Objectives

By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to Sing the songs Pronounce words and speak confidently. Talk about everyday clothes Read simple text

PUPILS PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE(AfL)Pupils already knew the clothes they wore everday for example school uniform, baju kurung, pinafore and others.

Teaching and Learning activity : -

Introduction (AfL)(5 min) :1. Pupils listen to the song from teacher. Pupils identify the name of the clothes that they know. Pupils listen then sing along with teacher.

DfL:Activity: Step 2 Pre reading ( 15 min)1. Pupils look at the pictures and respond to the teacher.2. Then, teacher asks pupils to read the text.3. Pupils listen to teacher.4. Pupils been encouraged to read by themselves and in groups.

Step 3 Post reading(15 min)1. Pupils look at the examples and by the same time, listen to the teacher to bring out more ideas .2. Teacher goes round and shows the flash cards to them.3.Pupils listen and then respond to the questions.

Step 4 While reading (20 min)1. Pupils answer the exercise shown ,orally and for the weak, guided by teacher and friends. Teacher drills pupils twice.2. Teacher asks them to look over again and write inside their exercise book together with the worksheet given.

Closure(5 min) : Teacher asks pupils to sings the songs again and meanwhile those who still in progress finishing their works.
