Questionnaire - diecasting Q. 1 What are the check point of housing after diecasting? Ans. Housing broken, housing bend or crack & housing non filling Q. 2 If housing bend or crack during burr cutting then what is reason? Ans. Housing may not kept proper in bottom jig, wastage material not cleaned by air gun & store in bottom jig from this reason housing will not sit proper & we press the it will become bend or crack Q. 3 Have you any idea for control the rejection if yes then how? Ans. The quality of aluminium should be ok. During process of every stage(like diecasitng grinding/runner broken/burr cutting) time to time care should be taken Q. 4 What is melting point of aluminium Ans. Between 600 0 C to 800 0 C Q. 5 Where do you keep the rejection material whether directly melt or keep separately? Ans. Keep separately & next day melt during processing Q. 6 What is precaution taken by you during loading or unloading the die? Ans. Following precautions should be taken a) eye bolt should be fully tight in die b) hook of chain should be fill insert in eye bold & tight with bolt & nut c) nobody should stand or walk nearby the die when die goes up or comes down d) Operate the remote of crane & keep away from die yourself Q. 7 What is application of cooling tower Ans. Cooling tower control the temperature of water & keep to cool oil tank of machine, die & also plunger Q. 8 If cooling not proper & machine gives alarm then what will have to do? Ans. OFF the machine for some time for cooling Q. 9 What is the check point before operating the die casting machine? Ans. All setting parameter should be as per chart, the melting temperature of material should be between 600 0 C to 800 0 C Q.10 If rejection increases due to non filling then what is possible reason” Ans. Possible reason are following : a) the % of oil increases which spray on die b) air gun not use to die

    c) less quantity aluminium poured in plunger sleeve Q.11 How do you identify the Lmo & ALSI132 ? Ans. We keep the following color for identification of material :

    For LM-0 yellow color

    ALSI 132 black color

Q.12 What is meaning of accepted label & rejection label & why this label pasted on box Ans. Accepted label used only for OK material which is ready for dispatch, but rejected label

use only for rejected material which are neither suitable for production & not for dispatch This above label are pasted on box for identification of material, model, quantity etc, &

    what is condition of material
