Lesson on Christian Doctrine2Ti3:16-17 is our New Testament Christian

doctrine. The purpose for having a doctrine is tobuild our character and ethical principles. Ethics

may be defined as that which is right, just or noble.

The Greek translation for righteousness is G1343

dikaiosyn. It means integrity or virtue. The Hebrew

translation for righteousness or justice is H6666

tsdaqah. Either applies to (gov.t, judge, ruler, king,

Davidic king, Messiah, Gods attributes, in case or

cause, truthfulness, ethically right, vindication,

justification, salvation, prosperity of people, acts).

Our lesson will cover three doctrines 1) reproof 2)

correction 3) training or instruction. It will alsoinclude lessons about Godly or ungodly spirits.

In the reproof of chanceSilvanus wrote the first letter to Thessalonians. His

instructions were prove all things; hold fast to good.

Our first Christian doctrine is to reproofor test the

spirit leaving nothing to chance. The Greek translation

for reproof is G1650 elegchoswhich means: a proof, that

by which a thing is proved or tested; conviction.

There is nothing so costly as ignoranceIgnorance is costly. Saint John has instructed us to try the

spirits to see if they are of God. He has let us know thatmany false prophets have gone out into the world to

deceive many. Our first doctrine is reproof. We reprove

every spirit to see if it is of God or some evil spirit. Since

it is our Christian doctrine none should become offended.

In actuality taking offense to being reproved is evidence

that the spirit inside of us is not of Christ. The reason isthat the Holy Spirit is aware of our doctrine and takes

pleasure when we exercise what we have been taught. We

have paid the price of being misled by false prophets.

1Jo4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits

whether they are of God: because many false prophets aregone out into the world.

Nabal and Abigail

Nabal and Abigail represent one of the greatest morallesson about an evil man being married to a peacemaker.

1Sa25:3 Now the name of the man wasNabal; and the name

of his wife Abigail: and she wasa woman ofgood

understanding, and of a beautiful countenance: but the man

waschurlish and evil in his doings; and he wasof the houseof Caleb.

Meaning of NabalHebrew translation of H5036Nabalis foolish, senseless or fool. Nabal is

synonymous to the wordvile. The biblical story about Nabal and Abigailis a moral lesson to teach us that God is appalled by vile or churlish

immoral character such as Nabal. God was very pleased by the moral

virtue of his wife Abigail. She was a peacemaker. The Bible says that she

was a woman of good understanding. Hebrew translation ofbountiful is

H2896 ,towbwhich means good, excellent, rich, pleasant, appropriatehappy, prosperous, kind, good understanding, benign, right or ethical.H771 showa means independent, noble or generous.So the moral of the

story is that God blesses us with prosperity. God expects for us to be

generous like Abigail to share our blessings with others.If we were to

become like Nabal, then God is able to take away our same blessings.

Meaning or churlishHebrew translation for churlish is H3596 kiylay. It means scoundrel

or knave. The Merriam Webster Dictionary has defined scoundrel or

knave as a mean, evil or unprincipled person. Churlish persons are

vile. He or she will speak villainy. Webster has defined villainy as that

which is immoral. We come back to moral or ethical character. TheBible is very specific. There is no way to get around the fact that

Gods word is purposed to establish our moral or ethical standards.

Isa32:7 The instruments also of the churl areevil: he deviseth wicked

devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy

speaketh right.

Liberal is a Godly spiritLiberal is a Godly spirit. It is cited in the Old and New Testaments(Pro11:25, Isa32:5, 8 and 2Cr9:3). Liberal has 2 Hebrew translations:

Brakahmeans: blessing, prosperity, praise of God, gift, present, treaty

of peace.Nadiybmeans: inclined, willing, noble in mind and character,

generous princely. Liberal has one Greek meaning: Haplotsmeans

singleness, simplicity, sincerity, mental honesty, free from pretense orhypocrisy, unselfish, openness of heart by manifesting bygenerosity.

Later, we will examine our Christian doctrine to discover the whole

truth why God favors liberal-minded persons. This should clear up any

misunderstanding or confusion Christians may have about adopting a

political viewpoint. If our indwelling spirits are antagonistic towards a

Godly spirit, then it tells God that we are harboring evil spirits in us.

Conservative vs. LiberalConservative isnt in the Bible. Vile or churl is the closest

translation that could fit, because neither may be called liberal.

The Conservative political party has one main agenda and that

is to divide Gods kingdom. It pretends to serve God, but howcan it serve God with an agenda to incite division? The Liberal

partys agenda is in the Bible and has been ordained by God.

Isa32:5 The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the

churl said to bebountiful.

Vile Give Till it hurtsThis stupid ad is comparing giving with self-injurious

behaviors (SIB). To compare SIB with giving illustratesimmoral or unethical character. God would be ashamed if

we as Godly Christians were to stoop to low level as this.

It doesnt make any sense. Wrong is wrong! Our second

doctrine is to correctwrong conduct or doctrines. Instead,

we go along and refrain exercising our Christian doctrine.

The repercussion has led to immoral or unethical conduct.Satan has manifested himself as ruler in our political arena.

Understanding Liberal PoliticsLook at this stupid ad. It is so stupid that it suggests that if you

understand liberal politics then you must have your head stuck

up your ass. God must have his head stuck up his ass too! In

Gods eyes its a blessing to give bountifully. Jesus has said that

it is better to give than to receive (Acts20:35). One has to have

a good knowledge of God to understand liberal politics. Gods

divine purpose is to establish his kingdom here on earth. Jesus

has stated that a kingdom divided cannot stand (Mat12:25 &Luk11:17). Christ is the ruler over Gods kingdom. As Godly

Christians we abide by his teaching of the gospel. We have

been taught by Christ to be liberal. The reason is that God is

judging our heart to see if we care about our fellow mankind. If

we have genuine care for those who are poor or suffering, then

God knows we have Christs Holy Spirit abiding inside of us.

Govt. ShutdownGovernment shutdown is a vile or churl act to vilify the

liberal party. Government workers have been laid offduring an economy thats recovering from a recession.

That is like adding fuel to the fire. God is watching all

this chaos and confusion going on in America. Gods

liberal party has been striving to serve our poor. He is

offended at Conservatives shutting downs government.

Pr22:9 He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for

he giveth of his bread to the poor.

What should Congress do?What should Congress do about our new health care

law? The answer is do whats right in the eyesight ofGod and the law. Its a two-fold double whammy.

1. Health care is an ethical duty2. Health care is our new law

Congress owns both an ethical and legal duty to fund

healthcare reform. Conservatives, having a tempertantrum to shutdown government is childish, reckless

and/or evil. It merely demonstrates how low their moral

or ethical standards have dropped in public eyesight.

Conservative BandwagonMillions of Christians have hopped aboard the Conservative

bandwagon. The reason they have been joining their team in recordfashion is none of Gods ministers have exercised our Christian

doctrine. We have both a moral and ethical duty to reprove, correct

and instruct in righteousness. Prosperity for all people is Gods sole

ambition for establishing government. It is where Gods people

have join to pool our financial resources to bless those who are less

fortunate. The purpose for government isnt to benefit the wealthyclass. Rather, it is to fulfill the will of God to care for our needy.

Land flowing with milk and honeyUnited States is Gods promise land flowing with milk and honey.

God has sworn an oath to our forefathers. Yet, we have wasted

too much money on unnecessary wars. Now the milk and honey

has dried up, and who do conservatives blame except the poor.

Heaven forbids! The deficit our nation suffers is the folly of

following behind a Nabal spirit, rather than the spirit of Abigail.

For she was a peacemaker, whom God has shown his favor. He

elevated her to a queen when she married her husband David.Jer11:5 That I may perform the oath which I have sworn unto

your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as

it isthis day. Then answered I, and said, So be it, O LORD.

Integrity and virtueI hope that my Lesson on Christian Doctrine has taught youto appreciate the value of having integrity and/or virtue.

God expects for us to demonstrate noble character. We

serve a mighty good and loving God. He loves our entire

world despite how wretched our world may have become.

As Christians our duty is to allow the light of Christ to shinein our lives. We are the salt of the Earth. This means that

our character should reflect a noble or Godly spirit. None of

us should act vile or churlish towards one another to display

an evil spirit. We all have fallen short of Gods divine glory.

The Kingdom of GodThe kingdom of God is predicated upon our giving to help thepoor. Apostle Paul has coined the term charity which means

love. Each charitable institution is an agent to administer Gods

love to the less fortunate. Charity isnt intended to make Gods

ministers wealthy. Rather, charity is intended to serve the

financial needs of the poor and suffering. Our government isalso a charitable institution that has been ordained by God. Our

public officials have lined their own wallets to bleed our pockets.

Rm13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For

there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained

of God.

Rightly dividing the word of truth2Timothy 2:15 has imputed a moral duty for us to show ourselves approved by God as a workmanunashamed to rightly divide the word of truth. It is a tedious chore to research the Hebrew/Greek

translation of biblical terminology. God rewards this type of hard labor. God is able to reveal so much

more when we take time to do our homework. It is a much easier chore to sit in the sanctuary waiting

for pastors to do your homework for you. Our blessings

come from studying Gods word in the privacy of our ownsanctuary at home. Our house is Gods house too. Bible

study should be a daily practice. Yet, dont be lazy and just

read the Bible. Rather, seek to gain wisdom and understanding.

God is developing our moral and ethical character. He wishes for

us to be noble or virtuous. Even if we were amidst others of

ungodly character we stand out as owning a Godly character.We expect to be mocked or scorned. It comes with the territory

of serving God. If we stand fast long enough God will redeem us from whatever our suffering or

tribulation may be and make our enemies become our footstool. The reason is that our enemies wont

have the Holy Spirit abiding inside him or her. Otherwise, he or she wouldnt be our enemy. We are

peacemakers. Yet, his or her spirit is so full of hatred that he or she cant see Gods love abides in us.

Now the question is how do we rightly divide the word of truth? It is very easy once you think about it.

Judaic doctrine in the Old Testament was founded upon the fear of the Lord. Christian doctrine in our

New Testament is founded upon the love of God. What this means is that everything we do must be

done because our love of God is so immaculate in our heart. Jesus has commanded us to love one

another. If we forsake sharing our love with our brothers or sisters, then God shall forsake us too!

There are ordained ministers, who haventbeen taught our Christian doctrine. This

is the first time many have heard this

lesson being taught. The alarming news is

that God holds each minister (Ja3:1) to

stricter standards as Godly teachers. This

brings us to our final doctrine which istrainingor instruction. We have a

moral and/or ethical duty to train or

instruct our brothers or sisters how

God administers justice or righteousness

through charity. Love is a gift of God.We are to spread Gods love to those

who havent been loved. Fear is an evil

spirit. Persons who are evil resort to fear

tactics. Satan is the ruler over our world,

because we naively follow his tactics. Time

has come for us to turn away from feartactics. What this means is that love conquers all. Love is greater than faith and hope put together. Were

going to start a worldwide movement to spread Gods love to every man, woman and child on Earth!

1Cr13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
