LOVE – pt.2
Introduction
“Love your neighbor as yourself.” This is the summary of Commandments 4 – 10. But
what does this look like in practice? These Commandments show us the way.
The Fourth Commandment Two word summary: ______ ____________

The Fourth Commandment transitions us from the First Table of the Law (our
relationship with God) to the Second Table (our relationship with our neighbor).

Sins of the tongue are very serious. How we speak to and about others is a reflection
of our love for our neighbor.

X. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, workers, animals, or anything that
belongs to your neighbor.

Why? Desires seldom stay desires! (James 1:15) Sinful desires lead to sinful actions
which ultimately lead to death!
