BACKGROUND

1. The impact of Changes of Indonesian Demographic structure , it’s cause of gaining the number of elder people in Indonesia (BPS,2014)

2. Indonesian life span about 71,2 ( BPS, 2014)3. There are about 25.000.000 senior citizen that

should be need attention ( Ministry of Health of Indonesia, 2013)

4. There are More 20 % population on poverty and lack of health service that conduct of higher of depression ( Minister of Social Welfare,2013)

5. 2 % of aged stay on disability and need total care

Indonesian life span 2000- 2005 : 67,8 th

MDG,S Report 2014 life span of Indonesian population was 71,2 years

Number of Indonesian Population 2005 : 19.936.895 jiwa (8,48%) 2010 : 23.992.553 jiwa (9,77%)

1. We have 2700 graduated students since 1985

2. We have 100- 120 graduated students per year

3. To day In Bali there are 3 institution that graduated 300-400 Diploma of Nurse per year.

4. The Total of Number of Nurse in Bali are 7536 ( Bali Nursing Association , 2014).

2. Featured subject are Caring for Elder that supported by Geronthic Nursing Program and Complementary Nursing , Transcultural Nursing
