Relationships are Central to the Gospel

Relationships are Central to the Gospel

1. The message of the Gospel is communicated through

RELATIONSHIPS.

• People come to CHURCH because of their friends.

• People come to CHRIST through their friends.

Relationships are Central to the Gospel

EVANGELISM.

Two Parts to Reaching the Community for Christ

1. My Part is to SEEK Lost People and SHARE the

Good News. “Remember this: whoever turns a sinner

away from his error will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins.”

James 5:20

Two Parts to Reaching the Community for Christ

2. God’s Part is to SAVE the Lost and GROW His

Church.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever

believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but

to save the world through him.” John 3:16-17

God’s Mathematics120 people prayed at Pentecost (Acts 1)

God’s Mathematics

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
