Full-Time Job .generally considered 35 - 40 hours per week,
some benefits Benefits are a form of compensation paid by employers
to employees over and above the amount of pay specified as a base
salary or hourly rate of pay. Common benefits include: paid time
off such as PTO, sick days, and vacation days, health insurance,
life insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, paid
prescriptions, retirement benefits long term disability insurance,
and short term disability insurance.

INTERNSHIP Summer Program (mid May mid August) Interns with the
Thunder Bay Border Cats not only learn what it takes to run a
baseball club on a daily basis, but also give you the opportunity
to work with a team in an exciting fast paced environment. Come
experience working with an established franchise and connect
yourself with a growing league as you gain valuable experience
while having fun. We strive to include you in every possible aspect
of the organization, including on-field promotions, concession
management, ticket sales, merchandising, media relations and more.
If you are enthusiastic and really want to learn, then a placement
with our organization may be a great fit for you! Game Day
Operations Manager Include these responsibilities: Assist with
corporate outings including meet and greet aspect through to
processing payments. They may be expected to address fans in an
entertaining fashion with the aid of a microphone. Co-ordinate
on-field promotions and game day forms. Intern must be comfortable
with public speaking, as Proof of Performance follow up.
Communicate with corporate sponsors regarding event promotions and
facilitate their needs including a .. Game Day Photographer; tool
used for website development, souvenir programs and marketing
material. Working directly with suppliers. Concessions Operations
including customer service, food handling, sales, signage,
merchandising, inventory General marketing and sales; COGS,
contributing towards souvenir sales and retail wears. Foster new
ideas during staff meetings. Website development, Facebook updates
and creating design, layout and content for electronic newsletter.
Research and compile player stats for souvenir program insert.
Dealing directly with part time staff, which may include human
resources. Handling baseball buddies program, birthday parties and
anthem singers. Player and Coaching Staff needs as they arise.
Player relations regarding border crossings, passports, host
families, uniforms, and general conduct. Communicate with League
office or NWL Director of Operations if necessary. Participate in
host family/player outings. Fan Services and Client Retention.
