Supplements do not make-up for a balanced healthy diet. They are often quite expensive and most of the contents will be excreted out of your body as waste in urine or feces.

You also need to be very careful that you don’t overdose.

Some vitamins and minerals are water soluble. If you take too much you will excrete the excess.

Some are fat soluble which means it gets stored in the body. If you have too much you can overdose. You may get sick or even die from this.
