Lesson summary:

Teacher gives a poem to the pupils and they recite the poem in groups. After that, the advance pupils will write their own short poem and the weaker ones will cut and paste pictures to show the preposition of locations. This teaching and learning process is using the MS Powerpoint software.

Content Standard

3.3 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to write and present ideas through a variety of media using appropriate language, form and style.

Learning Standard

3.3.1 Able to create a simple text using a variety of media with guidance.3.2.2 Able to write with guidance.

Pupils previous knowledge: Students have learnt about preposition of location in the previous lesson.

Objectives: By the end of the lesson pupils should be able to:

1. Recite a poem with the correct pronunciation and intonation.1. Write a short poem using the minimum of 4 prepositions of locations in MS Word.1. Drag and place 5 objects correctly using MS Powerpoint on the computer.
