Different styles of music/speech reproduction require different amounts of low frequency headroom capability from the sound system. The LEOPARD system is designed to work in “building blocks” based on LEOPARD to 900-LFC ratios creating three basic templates for designing the right amount of LF for each application. Below is a guide to styles and the amount of Low Frequency headrooom that would be appropriate.
Below are the foundation “building blocks” or ratios that would be used to achieve the above results. The headroom differences bewteen the ratios and example packages based on these ratios are explored in this document.
