Lenormand deck

This deck is rather different from your usual RW based deck in that there is no

major and minor arcana and you use the whole 36-card deck for the reading.

The deck was designed by Mlle Leormand in the !"#$-%$s in &aris. 'he went fromrags to riches reading for the elite in (rance and )redicted the downfall of a)oleonand others. 'he was also into *strology and other esoteric methods.

There is more than one style of the deck. + ha,e the deck )rinted in 'witerlandwhich features )ictures and a )oem. The )oems hel) to guide the reader on the

meaning of the cards.

1et the 2uerent to shuffle the deck and cut it 3 times. eal out all the cards in fourrows of eight with the four lefto,er cards below the rows of eight.

+n the deck are two cards that re)resent the 2uerent. 4ne is a male one a female.Where the 2uerent cardfalls will gi,e meaning to the cards around it.

(or instance if the 2uerent cardfalls in the center you will read cards to the left asthe )ast cards to the right as the future.

5ards close will ha,e one meaning cards far away another. ou ha,e to )ay

attention to combinations of cards e.g. )ositi,e cards around a negati,e cardwillmean that the )roblem will not be as bad. *lternati,ely a ring cardne7t to thescythe will indicate an unha))y relationshi).
