Care InstructionsLemon Trees are great indoor and outdoor patio plants.
For best results:In the Spring: Move your potted tree outdoors into full sun when the threat of frost is past. In the Fall: Bring your potted tree back indoors before the frost season begins.
Citrus trees grow well in containers. For best results, transplant into a container drains well and is 10 – 12” in diameter to allow the roots room to grow. Use a well-drained soil mix. Citrus trees require at least 6 hours of sunlight per day to thrive.
Lemon TreeAdd the incredibly fresh, citrus scent of lemon
blossoms to your home by growing a lemon tree!
Extremely fragrant white flowers bloom in spring
and summer among attractive, glossy green
leaves. As lemons begin to appear and mature,
they help to provide visual interest for the
remainder of the year.
Lemon trees are self-pollinating, so only one tree
is needed to produce fruit. They adapt well to
container culture and require transplanting to a
larger, well-draining container as needed.

container with a tight-fitting lid. Squeeze juice from
lemon (using a juicer makes it easier to extract all
the juice) and pour into glass over sugar. Fill
container ¾ full of crushed ice. Add water to fill.
Place cap tightly onto container and shake well
Note: Some sugar will remain undissolved at the
bottom of the container. Use straw
to stir as desired while drinking.
In the spring move your potted tree outdoors into full sun when the threat of frost is past. Bring it back indoors in the fall before the frost season begins. Fertilize regularly with a citrus fertilizer. Do not use spike type fertilizers.
Water thoroughly while letting the surface soil dry between watering. Do not overwater. Prune by pinching back the tips of new growth toward the interior branches. Remove any new growth or stems near the soil.
