CALIZ – Clube de Aeromodelismo do Liz is proud to announce the 3rd edition of the Leiria Drone Race World Cup.
The event will take place on the football Stadium “Dr. Magalhães Pessoa”, in Leiria,
Portugal, on the 9th & 10th of June 2018.
It will be a great competition weekend where you can also discover the traditions and the secular culture of Portugal, a nice reason to have a fantastic holidays.
You are welcome to visit Portugal.

ACCESSES
By Plane – you may access the Portuguese territory by air, directly to the International Airport of
Lisbon, about 130 Km distant from Leiria
By Car – Highway A1 directly access Leiria from Porto (north) and from Lisboa (south) and also
from Spain ( highways A25, A23, A24 and A6 )
Public transport from LISBON AIRPORT to LISBON “Sete Rios” BUS STATION
Option 1 - Shuttle
i) Take line 2 from “Airport” to “Sete Rios”.

Option 2 - Subway
i) Take RED (pink) line from “Aeroporto” to “S. Sebastião”
ii) Take Blue Line from “S. Sebastião” (in direction to Colégio MIlitar/Luz) to “Jardim
Zoologico”
iii) Exit subway and take the stairs up to the bus station.
NOTE: “Sete Rios Bus Station” is also know as “Jardim Zoologico” when coming by subway.

The official languages of this event are Portuguese and English
BASIC ENTRY FEES
Competitors……………………………………………………. 40.00 €
The number of pilots is limited to 48 to guarantee that the competition can be finished within the
allotted time. The entries will be accepted in order of receipt until the limit of 48 is reached and the
entry is closed.
SPORTING LICENSES
Every competitor must have a valid and signed (by the holder) Sporting Licence of the FAI or FAI
Drone Permission.

ACCOMODATION
The organization provides free (limited) accommodation for pilots at the Stadium: bunk beds are
available however, pilots must bring a sleeping bag. Shower also available.
MISCELLANEOUS
The voltage used in Portugal territory is 220/240 V - 50 Hz. EU plug.
In Portugal driving is on the right hand side of the road.
The currency in the country is the Euro (€), as well as in most European countries.
